Progress in meeting AUSINDO PSKTI BIOCOM

Housed in Gili Nanggu , Lombok, NTT, has held Australian-Indonesia meeting Biosecurity Community Management ( AUSINDO BIOCOM ). The meeting was held on 19-20 April 2010. Six (6) institutions attended the meeting, the Charles Darwin University , the University Mahasaraswati , Satya Wacana Christian University , University of Nusa Cendana , BAKTI Foundatio n and the Pacific Institute for Sustainable Development .

Three representatives of the Centre for Eastern Indonesia (PSKTI) Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) Quezon City attended the meeting at Gili Nanggu it. They are Dr. Marthen Ndoen, Theofransus Litaay and Helty L. Mampouw. Prof. Ian Falk as AUSINDO BIOCOM project team leader chaired the meeting along with Ruth Wallace of Charles Darwin University .

During three days, meeting in Gili Nanggu agenda to discuss two important and large, the discussion about the development of the publication of the book "Managing Across Border Biosecurity" is a collaboration with Springer Publishing . According to the plan, the book will be launched in 2010. In addition to discussing the book's publication, the meeting also discussed the planning and preparation for re-bid CRC NPB for the period 2012-2020.
