NZAID Scholarships 2011 Intake socialization in Mataram-NTB
On January 21, 2010 at the Office of the Provincial Bappeda West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has held the Socialization NZAID Scholarships 2011 Intake. The event is fully supported by the Foundation BAKTI; Eastern Indonesia Forum (Forum KTI)-NTB.
Through socialization is expected to have the participation of the sons of eastern Indonesia region both from the civil servants, professors, researchers, police, military / police, to continue the study of S2 and S3 in New Zealand at eight universities in New Zealand at international level.
The main requirement is a must-have English language proficiency as evidenced by a minimum IELTS score of 6.00. Nevertheless, participants who have an IELTS score is below 6.00, will be included in the English course for 6 months or until it meets the minimum requirements. The course will be held in Denpasar, Bali or Surabaya, East Java.
The advantages of studying in New Zealand was a student may include a family (husband / wife and 2 children) with the overall cost of living will be borne fully by NZAID; including transportation costs (round-trip) and accommodation for the purposes of test and interview in Jakarta. Another advantage is the husband / wife will be given the opportunity to ikutsertakan English course for 20 weeks at the expense of NZAID and after that they can work side during his stay in New Zealand.
Socialization is attended by Mr. Kirk Yates (First Secretary Embassy in Jakarta and New Zealand as NZAID Manager). Socialization scholarship was officially opened by Drs. HL Faturrahman, M.Sc (Chairman Bappeda NTB). Also present in the socialization of this scholarship is Dr.Ir. Zain Ahmad, MA (Focal Point JiKTI NTB / University of Mataram); Maharani (Member JiKTI / University of Mataram) and Rosikhan Abdurrahman (Coordinator FKTI-NTB/Universitas Mataram) and Ira Indirawati (New Zealand Embassy staff). Participants of the present eastern Indonesia province of Maluku is represented by Roery Moenandar (LPPM Ambon); Michael Siahaya (Coordinator FKTI Moluccas / Maluku Bappeda). Of Papua represented by Aaron Simanjuntak (UNCEN); Joshua E. Reba (ICS Papua) and from the East Nusa Tenggara was represented by Drs. January Chr. Benjamin, M.Si (PPO Office NTT); Johannes Melky Subani (Coordinator FKTI NTT / NTT Bappeda); drh. Max Sanam, M.Sc (UNDANA) and Therik MA Wilson, SE, M.Si (JiKTI Member / Moderator Forum Academia NTT / Researcher PSKTI UKSW Salatiga).
